Mike Conley Won’t Exercise Player Option, Become A Free Agent

The NBA is about a week away from free agency, and another domino fell Thursday morning as Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports reported that Mike Conley Jr. will pass on free agency and play out the final year of his contract.

Conley is slated to make $34.5 million during the 2020-21 season.

Because of a tightening financial situation across the NBA, players do not face the type of payday they may have initially expected in free agency. Improve neck strength with a bodyweight exercise Mike Tyson and Anthony Joshua use

We already dissected the Mike Tyson bodyweight workout and this time we have another bodyweight exercise that was preferred by him and other top-tier boxers such as Anthony Joshua. Doing this exercise won’t get you big arms or a broad back. No, the wrestler neck bridge makes your neck strong, which is admittedly a good thing when you are boxing but could come in handy in other situations too.

I would like to point out that the bodyweight exercise we are going to discuss here is by no means a beginner move. On the contrary. I would not recommend anyone even trying to perform it without having been training like Tyson for a fair while. Not only is it rather dangerous for beginners, but this calisthenics exercise also requires strong muscles. TL;DR: kids, don’t try this at home.

The Mike Tyson bodyweight workout got him shredded when he was young and laid down the foundations so he could become one of the strongest heavyweight boxers to ever exist, but definitely of his era. One of Iron Mike’s calisthenic exercises was a little less conventional than the others, albeit equally as impressive.
